Day 1: Sai Gon – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (Lunch/Dinner)
Get picked up at your accommodation in the city center and driven to Cai Be to take the boat trip on the river.
Taste the local fruit, coconut juice on the boat.
Visit local workshops – the handicrafts made with water hyacinth, banana leaf hammocks.
Take the rowing boat in the small canal surrounded by mangroves.
Highlight of the day is taking a long boat trip across the Tien River to Vinh Long Province.
Have a set menu of delicious Southern local lunch (vegan/vegetarian options available).
Visit the local taste of coconut candy and pop rice.
Drive to Can Tho and stay overnight at Bamboo Eco Village Can Tho or Mekong Silt Ecolodge.
Have dinner at the local resort.
Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang – Sai Gon (Breakfast/Lunch)
Take the boat trip to visit Cai Rang Floating Market, the biggest floating market in the Mekong.
See how people trade and exchange their goods on the boat. Experience the thrill of shopping on the local boat.
Visit the rice noodle making shop on the river.
